Police Investigating Alleged Rape at Home of Tommy Armstrong Jr.

Police in Lincoln, Nebraska, are investigating an alleged rape that occurred at the home of Nebraska Cornhuskers starting quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr.

Paul Hammel and Joe Duggan of the Omaha World-Herald detailed Tuesday a 20-year-old woman reported the alleged sexual assault upon arriving at Lincoln hospital at approximately 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

The report cites Lincoln police spokeswoman Katie Flood as the source of the information and adds the alleged victim knows the suspect, though no arrests have been made. Police said the alleged assault occurred between approximately 2:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
