This is an incredibly heartwarming gesture from the Michigan Wolverines toward Chad Carr, the cancer-stricken grandson of former UM head coach Lloyd Carr.

After several players wrote #ChadTough messages on their helmets for yesterday’s game against Indiana, Michigan’s captains Joe Kerridge and Joe Bolden delivered the game ball to the five-year-old fighter, who is suffering from inoperable brain cancer.

Carr is currently under hospice care.
