Two Oklahoma football players are suspects in an armed robbery that allegedly took place April 15.
Wideout Trejan Bridges and tailback Seth McGowan have not been charged but were both named in an affidavit for a search warrant obtained by Jason Kersey of The Athletic.
According to Kersey, police recovered a handgun, loaded magazines and drug paraphernalia following a search of Bridges' apartment in Norman on April 16. Neither player appeared in the Sooners' spring game on April 24. On Thursday, McGowan entered the transfer portal.
“Kind of like everybody else,” Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley said, “just letting this thing play out from a legal standpoint, and then we’ll make any decisions we’ve got to make from there.
