Ohio State coach Urban Meyer will not participate in the Amway Coaches Poll while he serves a three-game suspension handed down by the school Wednesday.
Meyer was selected as one of the 65 voters for this season. He did cast a ballot in the preseason poll that was released on Aug. 2.
The American Football Coaches Association, which chooses the members of the panel, said Meyer will return the week after his suspension expires following Ohio State's game against TCU on Sept.
