Nebraska Releases Statement About Allegations Of Rape At Home Of 2 Huskers Football Stars

Police in Lincoln are investigating an allegation of rape at the home of two Nebraska football stars—quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. and wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp—early Sunday morning after the team’s win at Rutgers. According to the Lincoln Journal-Star, the alleged assault occurred between 2:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at the players’ house, and no arrests have been made yet.

Armstrong spoke to the Omaha World-Herald, relaying what he was told by the officers assigned to the investigation.

Armstrong told The World-Herald Tuesday police came to his home on Sunday and interviewed him, Westerkamp and another Husker player, Trey Foster.
