Miami defensive back Artie Burns lost his mother after a heart attack earlier this week. The Miami athletic department helped Burns and his brothers by setting up a GoFundMe, which received overwhelming support.

Tonight, Burns’ teammates are carrying that support over to the field. Several players are wearing t-shirts with Burns’ mother’s picture on it as a way of honoring her memory.
