Former USC Trojans quarterback Max Browne announced his decision to transfer to Pittsburgh on Thursday:

The redshirt junior started the first three games of the season for USC before being replaced by freshman Sam Darnold. In November, USC granted him permission to transfer.
Browne is eligible to play immediately since he has already completed his undergraduate degree, per Aaron Torres of Fox Sports.
