The Michigan State Spartans lost depth at an inopportune time in their season on Sunday.
According to Mike Griffith of MLive.com, coach Mark Dantonio announced junior safety Mark Meyers was suspended indefinitely “after a reported operating while intoxicated charge (OWI) that occurred Saturday night or early Sunday morning in East Lansing.”
Griffith pointed out the arrest was first reported by isportsweb.com, “citing Ingham County jail records that confirmed Meyers was an inmate on Sunday morning before being released later in the day on bond.
