LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Kentucky athletic director Mitch Barnhart wants the NCAA Tournament selection process to be more transparent before brackets are announced.
Wildcats coach John Calipari criticized the process after Kentucky was seeded fourth in the East Region despite beating Texas A&M -- a No. 3 seed -- to win the Southeastern Conference Tournament title.
Calipari believes his team deserved a higher seed and questioned whether winning the conference title matters if it doesn't improve seeding.
