Jordan Love, Utah State Fall to Kent State 51-41 in 2019 Frisco Bowl

The 6-6 Kent State Golden Flashes captured their first bowl victory in program history by upsetting the 7-5 Utah State Aggies 51-41 in the Frisco Bowl at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, on Friday evening.

The Aggies trailed by as many as 27-16 early in the third quarter but entered the final quarter with a 27-26 lead following a 17-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Love to Deven Thompkins and a recovered fumble that resulted in a 45-yard field goal from Dominik Eberle.
