With just two weeks until Heisman ballots are due, the race is tightening up.
As he has all season, Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa holds the lead in the USA TODAY Sports weekly survey. But Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray gained ground once again, and now trails the front-runner by just five points.
Tagovailoa did have a solid outing in the Crimson Tide’s win against The Citadel, though he and the rest of the team had to work harder for it than their fans would have liked.
