Baylor associate athletic director Heath Nielsen was arrested earlier this month for a misdemeanor assault warrant due to an alleged Nov. 5 incident with a local sportswriter.
Troy Hein and Mikel Lauber of KWTX reported Nielsen was booked into the McLennan County Jail on Nov. 8.
KWTX also provided a mugshot of the 47-year-old school official:

James McBride, who writes for The Blaze News, was the victim and detailed the alleged incident to KWTX Monday:
I had asked the player if I could take a photo with him, he said "yes.
