In one of the best destination bowl games of the season, the Mountain West champion San Diego State Aztecs and the Cincinnati Bearcats travel halfway across the Pacific Ocean to meet in the Hawaii Bowl.
Neither team will have its top option under center, so expect a grind-it-out ballgame. Cincinnati starter Gunner Kiel is out for personal reasons, while San Diego State's Maxwell Smith suffered a knee injury during his team's win over Nevada.
