Coming into the game against NC State, FSU star running back Dalvin Cook needed only 12 yards to set the all-time rushing record for rushing yards in a season.
In FSU’s first drive and Cook’s second carry for 11 yards, he set the new record.
With that carry, Dalvin Cook has broken Warrick Dunn's Florida State single season rushing record (1,242 yards).

Cook broke Warrick Dunn’s school record of 1,242 yards on 166 that he set in 1995. Considering there is still the rest of this game and two more games on the schedule for FSU, it’s safe to say Cook will beat Dunn’s record by a substantial amount with a shot at 1,500 yards.
