Antonio Armstrong, who graduated from Texas A&M and spent one year in the NFL, and his wife were shot Friday morning by their 16-year-old son, per KTRK in Houston.
Armstrong's wife died, while he is hospitalized and remains in critical condition. Investigators have yet to determine a motive.
