Former Notre Dame coach blames failures at school on ‘ambitious’ assistants

There are probably some former coaches that should keep their mouths shut about past experiences and schools they drove into the ground. Charlie Weis is one of those people. Weis was so bad that Notre Dame and Kansas are paying him millions of dollars NOT to coach at either school anymore.

Yet, Weis wants you to know it wasn’t his fault that his time in South Bend was such an horrible failure:

From ArkansasOnline.com‘s account of Weis’ appearance at a Little Rock Touchdown Club event Tuesday:

Weis said his struggles at Notre Dame could be traced to the composition of his coaching staff.
