Florida State player calls out coach, says team won't work out 'until further notice'

Florida State defensive tackle Marvin Wilson said early Thursday that he and fellow Seminoles team members will boycott team workouts, frustrated by first-year coach Mike Norvell's handling of the nationwide protests from George Floyd's death.

According to a quote tweeted by a reporter for The Athletic, the 38-year-old coach claimed he sat down with each player on an individual basis. Wilson said that hasn't happened at all by his count.

"Man this did not happen mane," Wilson tweeted early Thursday morning. "We got a generated text that was sent to everybody. There was no one on one talk between us and coach.
