Florida State offers eighth grader scholarship

In the world of college football, coaches and recruiting coordinators are always looking steps into the future to find the next great college football player. Lately, that game plan has included attending middle school games and youth football clinics, apparently.

Add the Florida State Seminoles to the list of schools making a beeline to eighth grade dances and Bar Mitzvahs across the country. The ‘Noles have given their first scholarship offer for the CLASS OF 2019:

Thompson, a 6’0″, 300 pound defensive tackle from Southern Georgia, got the offer after attending the ‘Noles annual football camp this past week.
