Florida A&M's football team has been cleared by the university to return to football-related activities Tuesday, but the investigation into an explicit rap video filmed in the Rattlers locker room is ongoing.
Rattlers vice president and director of athletics Tiffani Dawn-Sykes announced the decision on social media Monday afternoon.
Sykes said the investigation into the unauthorized video that was partially filmed in FAMU's football locker room and released on social media last Friday by a local up-and-coming rapper is being led by the University's Office of Compliance and Ethics.
The announcement included no mention of discipline and did not explain why the administration was resuming football activities three days after the suspension.
