Former Mississippi State wide receiver De'Runnya Wilson was found dead Tuesday at the age of 25.
According to TMZ Sports, a relative found Wilson unresponsive in a residence in Alabama. The cause of death has not been reported, but the Birmingham Police Department has since launched a murder investigation.
Mississippi State University released a statement after news of Wilson's death broke: "Tonight, we mourn the loss of former Bulldog De'Runnya Wilson. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Thanks for the many memories you gave us, 'Bear.' #BearForceOne"
