Instead of hanging his head after missing a kick, Rowan University kicker Tyler Knighton stayed focused and found a way to make a play.
Crazily, the missed kick actually led to more points than the Profs would have gotten had the football gone through the uprights.
Knighton's extra-point attempt against Christopher Newport University went right into the players at the line of scrimmage. Seeing the football sitting on the ground, the sophomore kicker hurried to pick it up and go for the conversion.
That led to a giant pile near the end zone, and in the end, the Rowan players were able to get Knighton across the goal line.
