College basketball transfer rankings for 2020-21 and 2021-22

Amid the unlikeliness of the summer recruiting period and the uncertainty of the 2020-21 college basketball season in general, the transfer market rolls along. And the portal has continued to hum, despite the NCAA Division I Council deciding in mid-May not to vote on a one-time transfer waiver. The waiver would have eliminated sit-out years for first-time transfers, but it's not expected to be adopted until January. As a result, we could see a massive increase in waiver requests this summer and fall from players that were hoping to play right away next season.

While a number of traditional sit-out players are going to request immediate eligibility, we still have transfers separated into two categories: sit-out transfers and graduate transfers.
