Clemson fires offensive coordinator Brandon Streeter after disappointing first season

Greenville News

Brandon Streeter lasted one full season as Clemson's offensive coordinator. He was fired Thursday after a meeting of the board of trustees' compensation committee.

Streeter was promoted to offensive coordinator prior to the 2022 season. He replaced Tony Elliott when he became coach at Virginia following the 2021 season. Streeter's first game as coordinator was the Cheez-It Bowl victory against Iowa State.

The Tigers' offense struggled this season and barely ranked in the top 50 in total offense. They averaged 410 yards per game.

Clemson went 11-3 overall and 8-0 in the ACC.
