Michigan punter Blake O’Neill has taken plenty of backlash after his costly fumble which led to Michigan State’s game-winning touchdown on the game’s final play Saturday.
Today, ESPN’s Joe Tessitore expressed support for O’Neill, and tonight, Alabama kicker Adam Griffith did the same.

Classy move by Griffith. He knows as well as anyone how one play on special teams can effect a game. After all, he was the player whose 57-yard field goal was returned by Auburn’s Chris Davis for the infamous “Kick 6.
