Alabama CB Cyrus Jones charged with domestic violence

The off-field issues keep on coming for the University of Alabama football program.

In the same offseason that has seen running back Tyren Jones dismissed from the football team for possession of marijuana and defensive tackle Jonathan Taylor also get the hook from the team for a situation surrounding domestic violence, comes this piece of news.

According to Stephanie Taylor of The Tuscaloosa News, senior defensive back Cyrus Jones was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence/harassment on Wednesday morning.

Apparently Jones threatened to assault the alleged victim in front of a witness, and took that individual’s cell phone.
