College Football Coaching Hot Seat: Power 5 Coaches In Danger Of Being Fired

The college football coaching hot board is already cooking for several coaches early this college football season. Some coaches, like Chris Ash, David Beaty and Larry Fedora, were on the hot seat entering the season. Others, like Bobby Petrino, entered the hot seat thanks to poor results.

One of the biggest names is Gus Malzahn, whose Auburn Tigers have struggled badly of late. While his massive buyout will likely save him, Malzahn is still on the hot seat.

College Football Now takes a look at 13 coaches in total who are on the hot seat in some way. There’s the coaches in danger of getting fired, the coaches whose seats are a little warm and the coaches who (probably) won’t be fired, but have started terribly this year, like Scott Frost. A complete breakdown is below.
