College Football Coaching Hot Seat: Jeremy Pruitt, Willie Taggart & Others In Danger Early In Season

The college football season is only a few weeks old, but the coaching hot seat is starting to heat up with the likes of Jeremy Pruitt, Willie Taggart, Chris Ash and even Chip Kelly. There’s still time for coaches to save their jobs, but these are the top 10 college football coaches on the hot seat right now. 

College football rumors focus on some notable coaches who could be fired after, or during this season. Some names were on the hot seat entering the year and they’ve not moved off it yet. Those include Rutgers’ Chris Ash, UConn’s Randy Edsall and USC’s Clay Helton.

There are also new(ish) CFB coaches who have struggled early and are at least somewhat in danger. Those include UCLA’s Chip Kelly, Arizona’s Kevin Sumlin, Florida State’s Willie Taggart and Tennessee’s Jeremy Pruitt.
