Spanish Fork (Utah) High School led Maple Mountain (Utah) High School with just over three seconds left to play in the game. One fourth down, they decided to snap the ball to the quarterback and let him run out the clock as opposed to punting ball.
Let's just say the gameplan was executed poorly.

It's unclear whether the quarterback dropped the football or had it stripped, but he appears to stop playing once the clock hits zero. Either way, Maple Mountain came away with a win in one of the most stunning finishes you'll ever see.
