These 55 Colleges Are Under Title IX Investigation For How They Handled Sexual Assault Claims

 

As part of the the federal push to end on-campus sexual assault, the Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights has released a list of 55 colleges and universities under Title IX investigation for how they handled claims of sexual assault.

This list includes everything from massive state schools to small, private liberal arts colleges. The reasons for each investigation have not been divulged, and the claims in question are being kept confidential.
