Texas Blows Coin Toss Against UCLA, Forced To Kick To Start Both Halves

After what can only be described as a head-scratching decision, the Texas Longhorns will be forced to kick to start both halves in Saturday's contest against UCLA.

The Bruins won the coin toss and their captains informed the head official that they would defer to the second half. Texas defensive tackle Tank Jackson then proceeded to inform the official that the Longhorns wanted to kick to start the proceedings.

Obviously confused, the official turned off his microphone and looked to have asked Jackson for some clarification. Jackson didn't waver, informing the official once again that Texas had decided to start on defense - thus forcing them to kick it away both to start the first and the second half.

As caught on camera, Texas Longhorns head coach Charlie Strong verbally destroyed Jackson when he got back to the sideline. Let's just say that you'd be safe to bet that Jackson won't be handling another coin toss any time soon.
