Akron Is Giving Away Free Tuition To Students Who Go To Football Game Against Bowling Green

The Akron Zips are going to be on national television Tuesday night when they host Bowling Green, and the school is doing everything they can to create a raucous environment.

They're trying to get as many students to attend as possible by giving away a semester's tuition to three students who swipe their Student ID card to get into the game.

Iowa ran a similar promotion earlier this year in an effort to get more students to attend their season opener.

This is Akron's second nationally televised game of the season, with the first coming in a 21-3 loss to Penn State.
