Western Conference Playoff Picture: Where We're At In The NBA Standings Post-All-Star Break

The NBA season is headed into the home stretch as we conclude the All-Star Break today, so let's take a look at the current NBA standings and where the Western Conference playoff picture looks if the season had already ended. The Golden State Warriors have a slim lead over the up-start Denver Nuggets, but the odds still greatly favor Steph and Co. to take home their third-straight NBA Finals.

The Western Conference Playoff Bracket as it sits right now is:
#1 Warriors vs. #8 Clippers
#2 Nuggets vs. #7 Spurs
#3 Thunder vs. #6 Jazz
#4 Trail Blazers vs. #5 Rockets

The West will have an interesting race down the stretch because the Mavericks, Lakers, T'Wolves, and Kings are all still very much in the hunt for the 8-seed. The Clippers already seem to be tanking (missing the playoffs would secure them a first-round pick that they wouldn't have by making the playoffs), so which team can slide in?

LeBron James hasn't missed a playoffs since his second season with the Cavaliers, and he's having statistically the best season since Wilt Chamberlain of somebody that would miss the playoffs. Odds from BetDSI don't currently favor the Lakers making the playoffs.
