SAN FRANCISCO -- Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was ruled out during the second half of Friday night's game against the Detroit Pistons with right knee soreness.

Curry made a stumbling layup with 4:28 left in the third quarter, finishing through a foul, but began grimacing and limping after the whistle, experiencing discomfort in his right knee. He checked out of the game 20 seconds later, met briefly with trainers and then limped to the locker room.
