Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson has been fined $15,000 by the NBA "for making an inappropriate gesture toward a spectator" during Monday night's win in Brooklyn, the league announced on Friday.
According to the release, the incident occured at the end of the Cavaliers' 99–97 victory over the Brooklyn Nights on Dec. 3. Thompson was caught on video flipping his middle finger to hecklers while walking off the court.
Thompson's most recent fine is the 19th of his career. The Cleveland center has already been fined 16 times for technical fouls and twice for ejections.
