The Reasons Behind Kyle Lowry's Recent Struggles

How Lowry’s style of play and performance took a tumble ever since his elbow got drained

The Toronto Raptors’ two-time NBA All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry just finished off another terrific regular season, leading the Raptors to an impressive 56-26 record. On March 28, however, Lowry’s performance took a turn for the worse. On that day, he had fluid in his shooting elbow drained after feeling discomfort for the past several months. Since his surgery, Lowry has not been playing up to his All-Star standards.

Over the Raptors’ eight playoff games, Lowry’s effective field goal percentage is a below-just 40% on uncontested shots.
