Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier will not be paid while on leave of absence because of his arrest on federal charges related to a gambling scheme.
Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups also will not be paid while on leave, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
Rozier's salary, which is about $26.6 million this season, paid in installments, will be held in escrow, per sources.
If Rozier is cleared and allowed to return to the NBA, which placed him on leave hours after his Oct. 23 arrest, he would receive the held payments in full, per sources.
