Rockets bring back Smith in deal with Clippers

Los Angeles (AFP) - Josh Smith, who helped spark the Houston Rockets into last season's NBA Western Conference finals, returned to the Texas franchise Friday in a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Rockets general manager Daryl Morey confirmed the move in a Twitter posting, saying, "Welcome back Josh Smith! #bandbacktogether.
