On cue, the sports gods rained karmic revenge on Batum and his Hornets, as the Sixers beat them 105-99 on their home court. Post-game, TJ McConnell helped the Charlotte custodial staff on the cleanup effort and waxed the floor with Batum’s tears.
Sure, Batum’s statement applied to the Sixers as a team, not McConnell as an individual.
