DENVER -- Nuggets star guard Jamal Murray, who was added to the injury report Thursday with an illness, was cleared to play and is in the starting lineup for Game 6 as Denver faces elimination against the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder.
He had been listed as questionable for Thursday's game, with interim coach David Adelman saying Murray was "definitely sick." Murray was cleared about 45 minutes before tipoff.
Denver is 8-3 when Murray has played in games with the Nuggets facing elimination. He has averaged 27.8 points and 5.2 assists in those games, according to ESPN Research.
