NBA commissioner Adam Silver says financial losses in China 'substantial'

NBA commissioner Adam Silver said Thursday that the league is already dealing with "fairly dramatic" financial consequences from Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey's support of Hong Kong's anti-government protesters.

"The losses have already been substantial," Silver said at the Time 100 Summit, in his first public comments about the NBA's relationship with China since returning to the U.S. from China earlier this week. "Our games are not back on the air in China as we speak, and we'll see what happens next.

"I don't know where we go from here. The financial consequences have been and may continue to be fairly dramatic.
