Masai Ujiri gets new deal as vice chairman/president of Toronto Raptors, sources say

Masai Ujiri, the architect of the 2019 champion Toronto Raptors, has agreed to a significant new deal to become vice chairman and president of the team, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Thursday.

Ujiri will continue as both the Raptors' top basketball/business executive and a global philanthropist through his Giants of Africa.

In a Twitter video released by the Raptors on Thursday that did not reference the agreement, Ujiri said the goal for himself and the team is clear.

"On the court, our goal is clear: Win. Its simple: Win. Bring another championship to Toronto," Ujiri said in the video.
