Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox has a moderate sprain in his right ankle and will miss Wednesday night's game against the Golden State Warriors, it was announced on Monday night.
Though the Kings said in a statement that Fox's availability to return will be determined at a later date, a source expressed optimism that the 2023 All-Star can return within a week's time.
Fox rolled his ankle in the fourth quarter of Sunday's overtime victory against the visiting Los Angeles Lakers and was helped off the court and into the Kings locker room.
