LeBron may be Batman, but Kyrie Irving has emerged as Robin
In the NBA, every Batman needs his Robin. Bird had McHale. Jordan had Pippen. Shaq had Kobe. Every great team has at least two superstar players, if not three. One player, no matter how great, just can’t get it done by himself on a consistent basis.
LeBron James is the perfect example. He was the most dominant player in the league during his first stint in Cleveland. He led the Cavs to 60-win seasons, won multiple MVP awards, and delivered spectacular playoff performances.
