CP3 strains hamstring in loss; out indefinitely

Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul will be out indefinitely after suffering a strained left hamstring in Thursday night's 101-99 loss to the Miami Heat, head coach Mike D'Antoni said.

Paul will undergo an MRI on Friday morning. D'Antoni did not specify how long Paul would be out, saying only, "It'll be some time."

Paul played 12 minutes and had four points before exiting with 6:43 left in the second quarter and the Rockets leading 45-37.

He lost control of the ball while dribbling past midcourt, and, while attempting to take the ball away from Miami's Derrick Jones Jr.
