Mark Cuban has been fined $500,000 by the NBA following his rant against league officials and officiating after the Mavericks’ loss to the Hawks in February. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver also declined the Mavs’ protest to replay the final 9.7 seconds of that game. Cuban has been fined over $2.5 million since owning the Mavericks.
The Lakers officially signed Dion Waiters earlier this week through the rest of this season. Shams Charania is reporting that LA might not be done either saying that they are open to adding another shooter. The Lakers would have to waive another player to free up a roster spot. Could a player like JR Smith be joining the Lakers soon? Steph Curry made his return to the court on Thursday in the Warriors 121-113 loss to the Raptors. Curry scored 23 points in 27 minutes and came out of the game with no issues. Steve Kerr says the Warriors will “ramp up” Curry’s minutes in the coming games.
