Marcus Morris is a prime trade candidate as he’s having a career-year with the New York Knicks. The Clippers are among the teams interested, and the Knicks would be wise to move him since he’s playing under a one-year contract. Robert Covington also should get traded as the Timberwolves are a mess. Covington has a very team-friendly contract and would net Minnesota a good return in a trade.
The Golden State Warriors have considered trading D’Angelo Russell, but should they keep him? With Steph Curry and Klay Thompson injured, Russell has excelled. The Warriors should heavily consider keeping Russell and seeing how he meshes with Steph & Klay next season. Reports surfaced a few weeks back that the Raptors could consider trading Kyle Lowry and other veterans to start re-tooling around young star Pascal Siakam. Since then, Toronto has won 10 straight games and sits 2nd in the Eastern Conference. The Raptors will likely keep Lowry and might even look to add to their current roster.
