Washington won this battle of .500 teams, moving to 5-4 on the year by knocking off the Bucks thanks to outscoring Milwaukee 37-17 in the second quarter.

Brooklyn Nets 90, Atlanta Hawks 88

Brooklyn picked up their second win of the season Tuesday against the Hawks thanks to Brook Lopez's game-saving block on Paul Millsap with just seconds left on the clock.

Detroit Pistons 104, Cleveland Cavaliers 99

Cleveland is now on a two-game losing streak while Detroit snapped a four-game losing streak of their own thanks to 25 points and 18 rebounds from Andre Drummond.

Minnesota Timberwolves 103, Miami Heat 91

Minnesota overcame a triple-double from Hassan Whiteside to win thanks to them outscoring the Heat 41-22 in the fourth quarter and 24 points from Andrew Wiggins.

New York Knicks 102, Charlotte Hornets 94

Knicks rookie Kristaps Porzingis had his best game as a pro, dropping 29 points while grabbing 11 rebounds to lead New York to a win.

Denver Nuggets 115, New Orleans Pelicans 108

Denver dropped to Pelicans to 1-10 on the year, and New Orleans star big man Anthony Davis suffered a shoulder injury.

Golden State Warriors 115, Toronto Raptors 110

Toronto managed to cut an 18-point deficit down to one late in the fourth quarter, but Stephen Curry (37 points) came up big down the stretch to move Golden State to 12-0 on the season.

Pelicans forward Anthony Davis is listed as questionable to play tonight against the Thunder with the shoulder injury.

The Houston Rockets have fired head coach Kevin McHale after a 4-7 start to the season.
