The 2019 NBA Draft is only hours away & there are a bunch of NBA draft rumors coming to light on draft day. Among the latest NBA rumors are some potential NBA draft trades that could go down before or during the draft. These NBA trade rumors include the New Orleans Pelicans trading up from the #4 overall pick to obtain the Memphis Grizzlies’ #2 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. The Pelicans are reportedly targeting Duke SG R.J. Barrett to pair him with former teammate Zion Williamson.
If they can’t trade up, would the Pelicans be willing to trade down in the draft? The Pelicans are heavily shopping the #4 pick and a team that could be interested is the Minnesota Timberwolves who hold the #11 overall pick. They could send the #11 pick and a player such as Robert Covington or Dario Saric as part of the trade package. The last NBA draft trade discussed on today’s show is the possibility of the Boston Celtics trading up into the top 10. The Celtics hold 3 of the top 22 picks in tonight’s draft, but Boston could use those picks to trade up and select Darius Garland out of Vanderbilt. Do you think Boston should move into the top 10?

In other NBA draft news, the New York Knicks reportedly worked out UNC PG Coby White at the team’s facility. The Knicks are locked in on R.J. Barrett at #3, but with the Pelicans trade rumors it is always good to have a backup plan if things go left. Also, are the Pacers interested in Oregon C Bol Bol? There has been speculation that the Pacers will target Bol Bol with the 18th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
Tacko Fall’s future is the last rumor, as the Los Angeles Lakers are bringing him in for a visit. Fall might not be drafted, but he could carve out a role and the Lakers do need depth.
