Despite injuries holding him back here and there, Luka Doncic has looked like the best player every night that he steps onto the court. Luka Doncic would have finished top five in the MVP voting if the season were over, but when will his first real MVP season come?

Kristaps Porzingis signed a 5-year max contract with the Dallas Mavericks during NBA free agency, and he has begun to live up to that deal. Kristaps Porzingis had to shake some rust off in the first half of the season, but once he got his chance to shine, he took full advantage of it. One of the best parts of Porzingis’ game is his versatility. He is the only player in the NBA to have knocked down 126 3-pointers and blocked 106 shots throughout the 2019-20 regular season. The Unicorn has earned his nickname and an A- grade from Jimmy Crowther of All Things Mavs.

Tim Hardaway Jr. has exceeded all expectations this season. Many Dallas Mavs fans expected Hardaway Jr. to be moved in a trade prior to the season’s start, but once he was inserted into the starting five by head coach Rick Carlisle, he began to shine. Tim Hardaway Jr. has emerged as one of the best 3-point shooters in the NBA and is a more-than-capable defender as well. Despite not being one of the two best players on the team, Tim Hardaway Jr. still earns himself an A grade for the 2019-20 season.

The final player that Jimmy Crowther takes a look at in today’s video is Seth Curry. Curry was initially made a starter by Rick Carlisle, but once he was hit with an injury, Tim Hardaway Jr. took over his role. Seth Curry has been very good this season from beyond the 3-point arc, but his playmaking ability was still somewhat lacking. All in all, Seth Curry has had a very good season for the Dallas Mavericks, and that is why Jimmy Crowther of All Things Mavs hands him a B+ grade for the 2019-20 season.
