According to the New York Post, "disgraced racist Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling is battling cancer — surprising those around him by beating the final buzzer for as long as he has, sources told The Post on Thursday."

“People have been predicting his imminent demise. I’m sure he has the best . . . drugs money can buy,” said a source close to the situation. “He can do anything to keep himself alive."

The New York Post's source also indicated that doctors "thought he would die two years ago," and that the medication Donald Sterling has been taking is the reason why his face has taken on a swollen appearance recently.

Oddly enough, Donald Sterling refused to pay for prostate cancer surgery for then-Los Angeles Clippers assistant coach Kim Hughes a decade ago, stating in Hughes' words that "if they did it for one person, they’d have to do it for everybody else.”

Four Clippers players ended up footing the $70,000 bill.

Commence, internet.
